Serving Veterans

I am designing a home that will use an airhandler (connected with shared compressor units, “multi-zone”) in almost every room. Each main unit, my calculations tell me l will need 200,000 BTU for the entire home, will be 60,000 BTU with 6-8 handlers per unit. This is an 11,000 sq.ft. home that will invite veterans and caregivers to be able to ‘take a break’. I think the split heat pump/AC systems would be best, as they give individual room control of the temperature. Am l being logical here ? Can you advise, or assist, with our plans ?

Because some veterans (burn victims, etc.) are temperature sensitive, these plans include some redundancy.

Hello and welcome, I applaud what your doing thank you!

With a system this size and lengths of line sets I think you should contact the manufacturer or seller with a layout of the house and have them work something up for you. It won’t cost anything and they are really pretty good at not trying to sell you something you don’t need. They will tell you sizes for everything and how many pumps you will need etc. Good luck and keep us updated on you progress with it, I’ll post pictures here for ya too.
